This is an absolutely beautiful piece of glass. The body and foot of the glass is a gorgeous shade of teal or peacock blue and the stem, with the spiraled ring right in the center, is a bright and happy spring green. I have seen pieces just like this with stoppers, BUT the stoppers all have ground bases. There is no telltale sign of there ever being a ground stopper inserted into the neck of this piece, so it is my SUPPOSITION that they might also have been sold as vases, without stoppers. I have also read that this was made by Stelvia but there are so few on the market that I'm having a hard time confirming that.
This piece measures approx. 16.25" high with a 5" wide base. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains.
