First edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Thief of Always by Clive Barker (HarperCollins, 1992). True first edition of this young adult fantasy horror novel. With illustrations by the author throughout. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Faint soiling to top edge of jacket on interior side. Boards are straight and largely clean save for small stained area to top fore corner. Board corners slightly bumped. Binding is firm. Small bit of staining to top outer edge of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
