Eva Ziesel for Red Wing Pottery Nestling salt shaker. Brown color that is a rusty-orange color. Replacement or additional salt shaker. Ziesel did the Town and Country dinnerware that were free-form, organic shapes, and a mix of colors for Red Wing. The pepper shaker would be small in comparison and occasionally a darker color. The Schmoo terminology for the nestling salt and peppers came from cartoonist Al Capp. A nestling pair can sell up to $85 or more depending on condition and color. The salt shaker is 4" x 3" and is in excellent condition. Eva's Red Wing collection can be found in various museums.
