This lovely hard to find, Charmant mirror compact was found at an estate sale. It is made of brass or gold tone metal. It is rectangular in shape and the top is gold tone metal with a nice raised line design and leather in the center. The back has an Art Deco geometric square design and it is signed, "Charmant". The compact opens up to reveal a mirror at the top, and on the bottom a rouge compartment is on the left and a powder compartment is on the right. The original powder puffs are there and there is still rouge and powder remaining in the compartments. The rouge looks almost full. The compact measures approximately 2.70" wide x .42" high x 1.62" deep. Please note that there is some vintage wear on the compact which includes scratches on the leather and on the metal parts on the front, back, and inside. There are some dark places (tarnish/patina) on the compact and some wear and tear on the powder puffs. The mirror is intact with no chips or cracks.
