Circa late 1800's to early 1900's
All original, this is a magnificent antique copper samovar with a solid brass spigot. Circa late 1800's to early 1900's. Truly beautiful, it has gorgeous design. Graceful detail throughout, continuing with the entire spigot and handle, along with the stamped design around the top of the base. The side handles are porcelain and one is missing, and show off a beautiful linear detail in their design. The spigot has a top bar-handle that works in a back and forth motion.
The inside shows the metal hollow tube. A heavy metal weight was originally once heated and placed into this tube, which would heat the water. Underneath the top cover, the lettering is stamped, and it reads: "WARRANTED BEST LONDON MANUFACTURE". In the bottom to the lid.
This is a beautiful, highly designed antique copper samovar.
