This is a striking and stylish large meat platter made by Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co. (Cauldon) as part of the Teutonic range.
It features an unusual blue and white transfer design and is raised on step feet. The platter has recesses that flow into a collecting dish at the side for meat resting juices.
Fully stamped on the reverse along with an impressed Victorian Registration Diamond, dating it to the late 19th century.
Size is 20x12 inches.
